Oktoberfest line-up set for this Saturday!

Our Oktoberfest beer selection is set for our Oktoberfest kick-off on Saturday September 18th. We will have our year long Octoberfest staples of Spaten and Hacker-Pschorr and we will also be adding Paulaner and Sam Adams Octoberfests. The event starts at 4pm and will feature these beers as well as Shipyards seasonal Pumkinhead beer as well as one more Punkin not set in stone yet! Tank will be there to head-up the singing and beer games as well as cooking up some German delicacies! So put on your lederhosen and get down to Tanks on Saturday and be ready to put back some liters of your favorite Oktoberfest Biers!

$3 Abita Amber Drafts This Month!

Every month we run a draft beer for $3 a pint and we call it our "Blacklight Beer". The "Blacklight Beer" for the month of September will be Abita Amber from New Orleans. This is a munich-style lager brewed with crystal malts and perle hops. The perfect beer to get you eased into Octoberfest! Speaking of Octoberfest, we currently have Spaten October and Hacker Pschor October on tap but will be adding several more in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for an Octoberfest post coming soon!

Pumpkinhead is Back!!

Shipyard's Pumpkinhead Pumpkin flavored beer will be back on tap at Tank's this week! We are supposed to have it in Tuesday and will have it tapped by 6pm Tuesday night! I think we are going to be limited to just one keg this year so make sure you get to Tank's this week 'cause this keg will go quick!

Spaten Pils now on tap!

If you like European Lagers you will love the Spaten Pils! It is a classic Bavarian style pilsner. This beer weighs in at 5.0% alc. which makes it a very sessionable beer! Come to Tank's and try one out today!

New on Tap: Breckenridge Vanilla Porter

We just tapped the Vanilla Porter by Breckenridge Brewery out of Colorado so come try it out! This deep brown ale is catagorized as an herb and spice beer with chocolate roast malts and a creamy vanilla finish. It is a sessionable porter at 4.7% abv so try a couple! We also just brought back the Left Hand Milk Stout. Who needs summer beers?

Palm coming This Week!

We will be tapping the Belgian beer Palm this week and it will be our featured beer for the month of August! Palm is a very sessionable (drinkable) amber ale. A brewery rep will be at Tank's on August 25th to buy you a Palm and chat up their beer! He will be at Tank's from 6pm-8pm and will be doing a "buy one get one" promotion so make sure you stop by!

Beertopia! Coming in July

Beertopia, our annual celebration of beer will be taking place in mid-July this year. We will have lots of specials, free beer samples, glass, shirt, and other swag giveaways. I will post more details when they become available!

Hopslam is back!!

Bell's Hopslam is back on tap at Tank's Taproom! Weighing in at 10.0% alc. this double/triple IPA is only available in 12 states nation wide and on limited release in January and February. The Bell's brewery says: "A biting, bitter, tongue bruiser of an ale. With a name like Hopslam, what did you expect?"
